Jackalope -Postcard Friendship Friday #277

This is the famous Western Jackalope.  Yes, this postcard has been floating around a LONG time.  Our sweet Grammie sent this to her dear husband Lester, our Grandfather, back in the 1960's.

I still chuckle when I look at this picture--it reflects my Grandmother's whimsical side.

LINKING UP:  You can put your link in any time between now and next Thursday.  Postcard Friendship Friday is open for the entire week!

* BADGE:  When you submit a postcard, be sure to put a link back to this page.  You can copy and paste the PFF badge, which has the link embedded.  Thank you!

THEMES: You don't have to stick to the theme I choose each Friday. Just put up the pieces you love and tell us why you like them.

It's good to have grandmothers with spirit.

Hi Beth I like both the card and your word 'whimsical'. They remind me of an old TV series 'Northern Exposure', about a young New Yorkish doctor who has to pay off his studies by going to work in a village in Alaska. There reindeers, philisophical hippie deejays, ex-astronauts and very stubborn native Alaskan ladies change his life completely. Loved that series. Happy PFF!
